Susan Rich

Susan Rich, MBA, CPA

Managing Director

Susan brings a combination of management experience and fiscal expertise to her work at LIFMS. She has held positions as CFO at many organizations including a large LI surgical group/ambulatory surgical facility, a major NYC foster care agency operating a SED/Medicaid funded school for medically frail children, and an international medical clinical research foundation. While performing public service, Susan was Treasurer for the Nassau County Interim Finance Authority (NIFA), a NYS public authority managing $2.4B in debt and overseeing Nassau Healthcare Corporation (a publicly funded safety net hospital) and Nassau County finances. Susan was previously Chief Administrative Officer at NYC’s largest senior citizen social service and advocacy organization which includes senior centers, HUD housing and senior home care services. She has also held various senior fiscal management positions with a worldwide disaster relief agency; a for-profit international travel agency and a NFP healthcare insurance company.

Lisa M. Kunz

Lisa M. Kunz, CPA

Manager, Audit and Attest Services

Lisa is a dedicated senior accounting professional with over 25 years of experience. Lisa has worked on teams auditing the NYSOH Healthcare Marketplace, NYS Housing and Community Renewal, SUNY Downstate and Stony Brook Hospitals. She has experience auditing cash receipts from Medicaid or Medicare. She has also worked on teams auditing New York State, SUNY, NYSERDA and LIPA. Lisa was formerly a Senior Manager in the assurance practice of McGladrey LLP providing services to clients in the financial services industry and the not-for-profit sector. She began her career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a cum laude graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York and holds a B.B.A. in Accountancy.

Inna Reznik

Inna Reznik, MBA, CPA

Firm EQCR, Quality Control Reviewer and Government Technical Expert

Inna Reznik is a Certified Public Accountant with over fifteen years in Public Accounting, nine of which she worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where as a senior audit and assurance manager, Inna directly supervised audits of various local governments, municipal and public authorities. Inna managed the City of New York audit with a budget of approximately $50 billion dollars, as well as five of the New York City pension plan systems, with billions of dollars in investments. Inna was also a senior audit manager for the County of Nassau, as well as various Nassau County authorities and affiliated local corporations. For the last 10 years, Inna held the position as VP of Finance for a large publicly funded college with a $200+ million dollar budget, and is currently the City Comptroller for a local government. She serves as a technical consultant on LIFMS attest engagements and for governmental clients. Inna is a current member of the AICPA and GFOA.

Heather Turk

Heather Turk, MS

Manager, Financial Advisory and Consulting Services

Heather has worked with LIFMS since 2010 and graduated from Dowling College with a B.A in Accounting. She has consulted with NYC Health and Hospital Corporation, MSC healthcare clients, a number of distressed NYS local governments and a NYC agency. Heather has audited several NYS public authorities, and healthcare clients. She works with many of the firm consulting clients as the lead manager, providing high level and quality service delivery to clients in a wide variety of industries.Heather completed her Master’s Degree in Accounting in December 2018. She is also a CPA candidate who has begun taking the CPA exam as she continues to gain experience in the accounting industry. Heather has excellent analysis, reconciliation and computer skills.

Sidrah Kudia

Sidrah Kudia

Associate, Semi-Senior Accountant

Sidrah graduated from SUNY College at Old Westbury in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She was at the top of her class on the Dean’s list and worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Information Systems Department, while also tutoring other students in accounting subjects. She has consulted with NYC Health and Hospital Corporation, NYS local distressed governments, and audited and consulted with many government funded organizations. She was active in the SUNY Old Westbury Accounting Society and the Muslim Student Association. Sidrah has held prior accounting positions at both a CPA and a bookkeeping firm, has QuickBooks experience and strong computer skills. She hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in forensic accounting as she prepares for licensure as a CPA. Sidrah is bilingual and speaks English, Hindi and Urdu.

Andrew Rathaus

Associate, Staff Auditor 2

Andrew graduated from CUNY Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. He was named to the Dean’s list for academic achievement multiple semesters. Since joining LIFMS he has begun to gain experience auditing the firms public sector clients, including a large NYC agency, while helping consulting clients to prepare for yearend audits. He has experience with QuickBooks, reconciliations, managing AP & AR, in a fast-paced environment. Andrew also has three years of accounting experience with a major international advertising agency. He has experience with business process documentation and improvement, creating written procedures, and he seeks ways to improve processes, so that tasks are performed in the most efficient way possible.

Mariela Baez

Mariela Baez

Associate, Junior Accountant

Mariela graduated from SUNY College at Old Westbury with her BS in Accounting in May 2020 and also completed her Associates degree at Nassau Community College in 2016.  While attending college, Mariela previously worked for 5 years as an accountant for an enrolled agent, gaining significant experience with QuickBooks and working with small business clients, preparing tax returns, processing payrolls and helping clients to prepare for workers compensation audits. Mariela is planning to become a CPA and is bi-lingual and fluent in Spanish.

Amy Dong

Amy Dong, MS, CPA

Associate, Semi-Senior Accountant

Amy graduated from St. John’s University in May 2014, with a Master of Science Degree in Accounting. She passed all parts of the CPA exam on her first attempt after graduation. Amy has participated on audits of the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation, NYS Housing and Community Renewal and a large NYC agency. She enjoys meeting new people, learning new tasks, working on projects with team members and applying what she learns. Amy is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, which is the highest academic honor that a business student can achieve. With her solid accounting knowledge, Amy is always wanting to seek new challenges to expand on her skills. She has a positive attitude and wants to help clients to succeed. Amy is bilingual and speaks Chinese Mandarin.

Jada Dunn

Jada Dunn

Associate, Staff Accountant

Jada graduated from SUNY College at Old Westbury in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She was on the Dean’s list for multiple semesters and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Honor Society. Jada has held Executive Board positions for two student clubs on campus, was a Resident Assistant, and the Head Orientation Leader. She also prepared tax returns through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Her previous position consisted of reconciliations and managing accounts receivables. Jada plans to pursue a Master’s degree beginning in Fall 2020, prior to obtaining her CPA license.
