LIFMS maintains a team of professionals with extensive knowledge of federal audit and accounting standards (FAR), along with significant experience performing federal audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (the Yellow Book). We require continuing education, resulting in our staff being up-to-date with changes in Government Auditing Standards (GAS), generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements. All work is supervised by NYS licensed CPA’s, and we take pride in our cutting-edge technology. Our approach to performing federal financial audit services is consistent with the GAO/PCIE Financial Audit Manual and Generally Accepted Government Audit Standards (GAGAS), which provide the standards and methodology for performing financial statement audits of federal entities.
